Pianist – Performer
The piano is a gift to express my deepest passions. It's in the ivories that I can leave my heart without any regret. Playing the piano is like telling the truth: Right there, no confusion - just simply displayed in black and white...I love it.

Christie’s Music Background
Christie has been playing the piano for over 20 years, and both teaches and performs. She has had the opportunity to perform during multiple occasions, including a banquet in honor of Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. Her performances include stage performances, cocktail hours, nonprofit fundraisers and corporate events. Christie was also a 2012 titleholder within the Miss America Organization, where she was awarded as a top-ten semi finalist at Miss Arizona, a preliminary competition for Miss America.
Christie has received ABODA Superior with Distinction awards in the marching band, solo festival awards for piano and flute, and the Miss Tucson Desert Rose 2011 talent award. Aside from piano, Christie equally has musical experience (ranging anywhere from basic to advanced ability) in the flute, piccolo, vocals, marching snare, violin, and as a conductor and composer. She was given leadership roles as a Back Field Conductor, Side/Assistant Drum Major and Center/Lead Drum Major for a Division I & II High School Marching Band (band program earning multiple “Superior with Distinction” awards and “Drum Major Caption” award). Christie continues to learn and develop her passion for music as both a teacher and performer, and hopes to continue her love for music years to come!
