What’s the Purpose?

Back when I competed in the Miss America Organization as a local titleholder, I remember watching a former Miss Arizona show a photo slideshow with voiceover highlighting her year of service before she gave her “final walk” on stage. Even though I never won a state title, I knew I wanted to put together something that would reflect back on the countless hours and hard work I gave during my year of service when I did my own “final walk.” But I wanted it more than just a photo slideshow.

So, as a videographer, I went to work and produced an interview, documentary-style video. This was not only shown during my local pageant, but I have it to this day to look back on and enjoy.

You see, to this day, titleholders will put together a photo slideshow during their final walk (or a volunteer will do this). However, at no fault of their own, it’s typically produced at a lower-quality level. Why? It’s simply not their area of expertise, and that’s ok! That’s where I step in.

I want to offer young women the same opportunity to preserve their memories, but on a professional level. You spent the countless hours in the community. You practiced your talent. You did the mock interviews. You bought the dresses, shoes, makeup. You balanced school/work/life. Why not have all that hard work professionally collected and showcased to look back on years to come?

This video highlights the titleholder year(s) of service through the maximum level of gathered footage. This includes sound bites and footage from an on-camera interview, cover footage of the titleholder in her evening gown with crown and sash, and choice of either talent attire OR an additional casual outfit cutaway shots. Select photos from titleholder’s year of service will also be incorporated and professionally edited.

OTHER VIDEO PACKAGES

Ruby Package (“Enhanced Video”) – This video highlights the titleholder year(s) of service through an enhanced level of gathered footage. This includes sound bites and footage from an on-camera interview as well as cover footage of the titleholder in her evening gown with crown and sash. Select photos from titleholder’s year(s) of service will also be incorporated and professionally edited.

Emerald Package (“Standard Video”) – This video highlights the titleholder year(s) of service through a basic level of gathered footage. This includes sound bites and footage from an on-camera interview with the titleholder. Select photos from titleholder’s year of service will also be incorporated and professionally edited.

Sapphire Package (“Slideshow Video”) – This video highlights the titleholder year(s) of service through a collection of photos, paired with a professionally edited voiceover and appropriate editing of zooms and dissolves.

Note: Further details will be included in an agreement form before any production/payments would begin. Travel costs for any shoots outside the Phoenix Metro Area not included. Payment plans also available.
